I removed my 8-year-old son from Wellsford School because I was unhappy volunteers were teaching the pupils their beliefs as if they were fact. I actually had to opt my son out of the classes three times after he was “automatically” put back into the classes at the start of each term. My son has recently been diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum, which I believe makes the conflict and being told odd and unusual things very difficult for him to understand.
My son would come home very upset that he was put back into the classes despite them knowing I had opted him out.
